Indigenous Solidarity: Acknowledging Harm, Building Bridges, and Co-Creating the Future

America is mostly a land of immigrants whose stories grow quieter with each new generation. Together, in circle, we will begin to unpack the (often erased) plight of our ancestors, and its continued imprint on our values and worldview, while undertaking deep learning of and from the Haudenosaunee–the original, and continuous inhabitants of the Western Catskills–who illuminate a path of hope and resilience. How can we face our interwoven histories of suffering and violence, and set out on the untaken path of acknowledging harm, restoring right relationships, protecting our forests, and building a better world right here in the Catskills?

Circle Series will take place bi-monthly, beginning September 2026

reunion is helping to coordinate Food Prep for the walk to stop the constitution pipeline!

The women’s water walk is being coordinated by organizing councils, with support from the amazing the waterfall unity alliance, a regional org with a mission “to protect the Schoharie Valley and all Earth; build alliances across movements and cultures; and help create solutions to the existential challenges of our time"

Sign up HERE to join the walk and protect the lands and waters along the route of the proposed Constitution Pipeline, a fracked gas pipeline that will run from Northeast PA to Schoharie, NY.

If constructed, “the pipeline would cut through 125 miles of forests, wetlands, wild habitats and rural farm communities, providing a corridor of power for AI data centers and deafening compressor stations that cause serious air pollution and acid rain.”

The Women’s Water Walk is an act of unity and defiance, led by women and carrying prayer along the proposed pipeline route. Find out more at https://www.womenswaterwalk.org/
